A number of film awards hopefuls underperformed with this year’s #GoldenGlobe nominations. The Sydney Sweeney-starring boxing biopic #Christy failed to receive any nominations, including for its superstar lead actress. ⁠

The same goes for the acclaimed nuclear thriller #HouseOfDynamite, the Jennifer Lopez- and Tonatiuh-starring #KissOfTheSpiderWoman, and the third #KnivesOut film, #WakeUpDeadMan.⁠

There were also some surprise inclusions in this year’s film nominees: #SorryBaby star Eva Victor landed an unexpected best actress in a drama nod as did #Hedda‘s Tessa Thompson and Julia Roberts for the poorly-reviewed #AfterTheHunt.⁠
