🦌💚 In March, South Korea’s largest wildfire on record reduced the historic Gounsa Temple to ruins. Huge thanks to Head Monk’s commitment to natural restoration—and support from local environmental groups and greenpeacekorea—the forest has been allowed to heal, even endangered species are already returning just six months later.

‼️⚠️ Yet new threats loom. Nearby mountain ridges now face “hazardous tree removal,” putting recovering habitats at risk. 

✊ As climate-driven disasters intensify, we must choose to live in balance with nature and protecting our forests and oceans. We demand planet and people over profit.
