A rep for Brookhaven said Breaux, also known as rapper Erica Banks, was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over Monday in #Brookhaven, GA, after a police officer noticed a tinted tag covering the license plate. In Georgia, it’s against the law to have material affixed to a license plate that covers any portion of it.

The officer also noticed the vehicle had dealer plates, which should only be driven by a dealer employee and registered for sale. What’s more, the officer ran the plates and learned the vehicle was marked as stolen from Atlanta.

The cop ordered Erica and the driver, Amani Dirton, out of the vehicle and conducted a search, discovering “several” Ecstasy pills in Erica’s purse and “several packets” of mar-juana on Amani.

Both were arrested and booked into the #DeKalbCounty Jail. Erica was hit with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute. Amani hit with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and improper displayed license plate.
