Big news! ❤️🎉💚 Elijah Darden of #WashU25 has been named a Gates Cambridge Scholar, joining an elite group of global changemakers.

A psychological & brain sciences major washuartsci with a minor in music, Elijah has excelled as president of WashU’s Emergency Support Team and an annikarodriguezofficial Scholar. His leadership and dedication to health advocacy was also highlighted in his #FacesofWashU feature. 

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Gates Cambridge Scholarship selects 80 top scholars worldwide, including 25 from the U.S., recognizing their intellectual and leadership excellence and their dedication to improving lives. cambridgeuniversity, Elijah will pursue a master’s in population health sciences, advancing his commitment to equitable healthcare before attending medical school.
