All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Everyone is entitled to the rights and freedoms affirmed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

“Our rights should never take second place to profit or power,” said the #UnitedNations Secretary-General antonioguterres on Wednesday’s #HumanRightsDay, urging people everywhere to unite and stand up for the rights, dignity and freedom of all.

“When we protect the most vulnerable,

when we speak up for the institutions that speak up for us,
we keep human rights alive.”
