Tunji discusses his first institutional curatorial project, ‘Roots in the Sky’, which brings together the work of ten contemporary artists who explore the cultural pluralism and layered identities that define the Black diaspora.

In the artist’s own words: ‘I was initially invited to take part in this exhibition on my own, and this was roughly three or so years ago, and since then, I have really taken the time to consider involving not just myself, but artists who I deeply admire and see myself in context with.’⁠
