Imagine spending 17 years working towards your dream job of becoming a plastic surgeon.
4 years undergrad
4 years medical school
6 years residency
1 year fellowship
2 years in practice before you can be fully board certified.

17 years of hard work. 17 years of discipline. Grinding to get into the best plastic surgery residency at NYU, earning your dream fellowship, being asked to practice there, starting your own business… everything building exactly the way you dreamed… 
And then life tests you in a way you never imagined. 🥹
One year into marriage, your wife gets sick. The kind of sick that stops everything. And without hesitation, you show up. At the hospital. At home. And even at her photoshoots… helping her run her little company when she can’t. 🥹
This is what sickness and health looks like and I’m forever grateful. 🥹 
Thank you for every single thing. I dunno how I got so lucky.
