The most adventurous trip we’ve ever taken as a family? Namibia 🇳🇦 — wild, remote, untamed Africa at its finest. 🐘🛻 ⁠

From the moment we landed in Windhoek, every single day felt like an expedition into the unknown.⁠
⁠
You would need a couple of months to see all of Namibia. It’s best to pick your top 2-3 regions to explore in one trip if you have a couple of weeks!⁠

Our epic road trip looked like this:⁠
⁠
📍 Overnight in the capital, Windhoek, to recover from the flight⁠
🐊 Crocodile Farm in Otjiwarongo for lunch + entertainment⁠
🌿 One night at Ijaba Lodge to rest and have a good meal⁠
🚙 5 hours deeper into the wild to Fort Sesfontein, where the real adventure begins. From here, Natural Selections takes you off-road into Hoanib Valley Camp, where desert-adapted elephants and giraffes roam free. 🐘⁠
🏞️ 3–4 nights soaking up the magic and glamping before heading to Etosha Mountain Lodge for another 3–4 days of world-class safari. Then it’s one final 5-hour drive back to Windhoek.⁠

💡 Pro tips for a trip like this: Pack car seats, diapers/wipes, bug spray, a tire repair kit (you might only see one other car all day 🚗), plenty of snacks, cash, water, sunscreen, and entertainment for the kids.⁠
