She wasn’t the obvious choice.

But Geyse didn’t ask for permission.

She hid her boots inside her backpack, embarrassed to show she wanted to be a footballer.

She trained on sand, on concrete, on uneven ground — learning first to survive before learning technique.

Regional tryouts changed everything.

Her talent didn’t whisper — it screamed.

She rose through the youth system, joined Corinthians, crossed the ocean to Europe, and eventually landed in one of the most iconic clubs in the world: Barcelona.
