Every single customer car, costing around $5 million, is subjected to a comprehensive quality appraisal before keys are handed over.

This involves a minimum road test of over 250 miles (400 km) on varied routes, including villages and mountain passes.

The testing culminates in a high-speed run where the car reaches 186 mph (300 km/h) on a private airfield to validate the braking and stability systems.

Crucially, 90% of the quality assessment relies on the human senses of a highly-skilled test driver, one of only three qualified worldwide, to detect any minute issue.

Should any imperfection be discovered, the car is repaired, which can involve a full disassembly, and the entire test sequence is repeated.
