A poorly developed core = dysfunctional hips + a weak lower back.

If you want hips that move well, a spine that stays strong, and a body that performs under pressure…
your core has to become your superpower.

Here’s how to build a 360°, athletic, high-performing core:

1. Train Rotation
Rotation is how your body transfers force in real life. Training it improves power, fluid movement, and protects your spine during twisting.

2. Properly Train Your Obliques
Your obliques don’t just “look good”—they rotate, side bend, and resist unwanted movement. Strong obliques = improved stability and better lifting mechanics.

3. Train for Power & Explosiveness
Most people only train slow, static core work. Adding explosive med-ball throws or dynamic rotations develops speed, reaction, and athleticism.

4. Use Offset Loading
Unbalanced loads expose weaknesses and teach your core to stabilize under real-world forces. Offset marches/carries reveal imbalances and fix them fast.

5. Train Your Core 360°
Your posterior core (QL, erector spinae) matters as much as your abs. A strong backside keeps your hips aligned, protects your low back, and boosts total-body strength.

6. Apply Progressive Overload
Your core needs progression just like any other muscle. Increase weight, reps, tempo, or complexity over time to keep getting stronger.

Make your core your superpower—and your hips + low back will thank you.
