## Caption

UC Irvine researchers are enlisting the brain's immune cells as precision delivery vehicles, opening the door for personalized treatments for a range of neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, brain cancer and multiple sclerosis. 

The study is led by UCI professors Mathew Blurton-Jones and Robert Spitale and Jean Paul Chadarevian, a postdoctoral scholar in the Blurton-Jones lab and first author on the study.
