[REMAKE] 🎬 Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce that STUDIO TF1 has closed a deal with Apple Original Films applefilms for the remake rights to That Man From Rio, the iconic 1964 adventure film part of our catalogue.

🔥 Nearly six decades later, this timeless French story is set for a new life on screen.

The remake will be directed by Justin Lin, with a screenplay by Chase Palmer. It will be produced by Kevin Walsh through The Walsh Company and Justin Lin through Perfect Storm Entertainment. Sydney Sweeney will serve as executive producer, in addition to starring.

Originally directed by Philippe de Broca and co-written with Daniel Boulanger, Jean-Paul Rappeneau, and Ariane Mnouchkine, the film remains one of the great classics of French cinema.
