🔭✨ L’Observatoire Astronomique rouvre ses portes ! ✨🔭

Après plus de 30 ans de sommeil, l’Observatoire Astronomique de l'Université Catholique de Lille reprend vie à l’occasion des 150 ans de l’établissement. 🚀

Construit en 1889, il a été entièrement restauré : sa coupole rotative, son système à crémaillères et sa lunette astronomique historique, retrouvée après des décennies, sont de nouveau opérationnels ! 🌌

🎇 Nouveauté : le Starlab
Un espace dédié à la découverte et à l’innovation où étudiants, chercheurs et passionnés d’astronomie pourront explorer ensemble les mystères du ciel. ✨

📍 Accessible aux étudiants et collaborateurs, et ouvert ponctuellement au public lors de visites guidées.

After more than 30 years of inactivity, the Astronomical Observatory of the Catholic University of Lille is coming back to life for the institution's 150th anniversary. 🚀

Built in 1889, it has been completely restored: its rotating dome, its rack and pinion system, and its historic refracting telescope, rediscovered after decades, are once again operational! 🌌
