I say this a lot, but a LOT can change in a year. One small decision can change the entire trajectory of your life.  I remember thinking…this is not the best financial decision to spend 5 weeks cottage hopping in the English countryside, but I said f*#% it. And you know what? It turned out to be the most priceless decision I’ve ever made.
