NOW➡️THEN! (It appears only I’ve changed?!). A huge honour to be part of the motorsport1924 celebration of 2025 and the 40th anniversary of a.prost’s first F1 World Championship title! 

I owe Alain a lot. Growing up he, alongside Senna,  was a living legend in my house; my dad and godfather would talk about them in such high regard and the Prost Senna rivalry immediately drew me into motorsport and is undoubtedly one of the reasons I followed the career path I did.

I have had the fortune of interviewing Alain literally hundreds of times, he was co-found of Renault e-dams, a championship winning Formula E team. I always remember how much it used to p*ss off the team principal, another legend who is sadly no long with us, Jean-Paul Driot. JP laughed about it at the time but he didn’t like that Alain had more lime light than the TP. 😂

Thanks Alain for always taking the time to answer my questions, despite whatever drama had just unfolded on track.
