🎓🙌 Give it up for Campbell grad Skylar Humphrey!
Political Science with concentrations in Pre Law and Public Administration with a minor in International Business - orangesky09

𝐻𝑜𝓌 𝒹𝒾𝒹 𝒞𝒶𝓂𝓅𝒷𝑒𝓁𝓁 𝓈𝒽𝒶𝓅𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓃𝑒𝓍𝓉 𝓈𝓉𝑒𝓅?One experience at Campbell that has led to personal growth for me was joining student government, my junior year. I started off just as a representative doing bare minimum and by my senior year I felt like I had found my people and truly found where I felt the most happy and making the biggest impact I will forever be thankful for my class president who I had both years and all of the friends I’ve made along the way.

𝑀𝑜𝓈𝓉 𝒾𝓂𝓅𝒶𝒸𝓉𝒻𝓊𝓁 𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉𝑜𝓇?Dr. Mero — he introduced me to public administration, guided me through seven classes, and helped me discover my passion.

𝒜 𝓂𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒻𝑒𝓁𝓉 𝒶𝓉 𝒽𝑜𝓂𝑒?Christmas Tree Lighting. Seeing campus come alive and serving alongside friends showed me the magic of community here.

𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝒹𝒾𝒹 𝐶𝒶𝓂𝓅𝒷𝑒𝓁𝓁 𝒻𝑒𝑒𝓁 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝒻𝒶𝓂𝒾𝓁𝓎?Campbell felt like a family to me throughout my time working at the library as a student worker. No matter what day of the week it was or what I was going through. I always felt like I had a family through Wiggins Memorial library. They shared every laugh and cry that I’ve had throughout my entire time at Campbell.

➡️ One piece of advice that I wish I had given my first year self was that there’s never such a thing as asking too many questions. The only way you learn and find your people is by putting yourself out there.
