3 yrs ago tonight we almost never got a chance to make this post . The scariest night I wouldn’t wish upon my biggest enemy. I was _studio442 wrapping up a shoot with our friends alexa_michee and roykmiller when my phone rang.

“Dad, the car flipped”

Are you ok? (Pause)“I think so”

Is your Mom ok? (Uncomfortable pause for what seemed like forever but was only a couple of seconds

“I don’t know “. Another pause “I think so”

I still wake up regularly hearing that ringing in my head .

I was an hour away from the hospital and got there In 42 min

It has been a long road back to a sense of normalcy for all of us but we are getting there.

What is amazing about this is littlesoscenic was just getting into photography then .

The Friday night after the accident she was on the sidelines for her BTHS football game and I was holding her camera for her and taking pictures for her yearbook. I spotted a couple of photographers with very large lenses and quickly recognized it was some press photographers brennanasplenphoto and jamesgilbertphoto and without hesitation they offered to let her see what it was like looking through a 400mm 2.8 professional sports lens. She was instantly hooked. Fast forward to this year she recently shot a nascar race in Miami alongside jamesgilbertphoto and also worked alongside logan_bowles and photographed her first NFL game as a member of the media.

All because our community supports each other and wants to see us succeed .

That night will forever be the most terrifying I will ever experience but often times in our darkest moments the brightest lights step forward.

Thanks brennanasplenphoto for letting her borrow the camera for those 35 seconds and thank you honda for building a car that saved both of their lives .

My apologies for the long story but I wanted to share.
