We just dropped exciting updates for 2026! Mark your calendars! 🗓️ 

The official dates for our 2026 festival events were announced at our Festival Launch this past Thursday evening. Check out what's to come--you won't want to miss this! 

Keep a special eye out for our signature events:

- March 13: Pink Tie Party presented by @unionstationdc and @designcuisine with support by @allnipponairways. The theme is "Art of Fashion.” Get ready to be immersed in the world of fashion and strut your fashionable looks on the runway.

- March 21: Opening Ceremony co-presented with @japanfoundation @jf_newyork now at NEW VENUE: DAR Constitution Hall @todaysdar 

- March 28: Blossom Kite Festival presented by @amazon. Our Kite Competition is taking flight with a “Red, White and Bloom” theme in honor of America’s 250th! 

- April 4: Petalpalooza® at Navy Yard will feature new component: Cherry Blast®

- April 11: National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® presented by @eventsdc. This year’s performers include Season 7 American Idol runner-up David Archuleta (@davidarchie), Season 23 finalist Gabby Samone (@gabbysamonemusic), and ‘80s funk band Club Nouveau (@officialclubnouveau)—with more talent announcements to come!

- Tidal Basin Welcome Area and ANA Stage hosted with the @nationalparkservice – dates to be announced
