Been a hot minute since I’ve gone on a rant, but here we go:

Jon Cooper just exemplified why he’s one of the best coaches in the #NHL. Guy went up and down the bench, reprimanded his players for being outshot 7-1, and then they score three (3) goals almost instantly.

What does Peter Laviolette do following those three tallies? Nothing. No time out, no reprimanding, nothing. Just stands there chewing his gum like an elephant.

This is what I don’t understand about the coach, folks. He was brought here to be an accountable and demanding coach, but we haven’t seen that just ONCE!!!! Your power play is 2/45 in the most critical stretch of the season and you’ve done NOTHING to change it!!!!!

Look, at this point, there’s zero hope that this team makes it in the postseason, but can you show us fans that you’re at least TRYING to win hockey games???

I get it, most of the players have been little to no help as well, but that’s when you gotta start sitting people and demanding better. Stop letting this core run the roost and put your damn foot down.

Ok, that’s it for now. I don’t expect him to change or for the team to even make this game close, but can you at least pretend that you want it more?!?!
