The Holtville Vikings made an impressive run to close out their regular season, showing heart, grit, and progress under Head Coach Nayeli Garcia. The Vikings figured something out down the stretch — the timing, the rhythm, and the belief that had them pushing toward the top of the Imperial Valley League standings.

Despite falling to Brawley in four sets (1–3) in their league finale, Holtville’s late-season surge proved they belonged in the IVL title conversation. Their determination was clear in a string of key victories — including league wins over Central (3–2 and 3–1), Southwest EC (3–1), and Imperial (3–0).

Each win reflected steady growth and chemistry, and even in losses, the Vikings battled point-for-point. That consistency and fight are exactly what you need heading into the postseason.
