A mysterious museum is in this church ⤵️ This is the church of the Sacro Cuore del Suffragio. In Rome we call it “little Duomo of Milan”, because we don’t have churches like this here, so it makes us think of Milan 😊 Anyways, there is an incredible gem inside this church: the Museum of the Souls of the Purgatory It is a tiny little room with a collection of visible evidence that the souls of the Purgatory left while establishing a communication with the living people. The Purgatory is where the souls are transitioning before they get to Paradise. In the Purgatory the souls wash away their sins. And the evidence in this museum tell us about these souls that got in contact with the living people and asked them for prayers, masses and good actions to help them atone for the sins they committed on earth. While establishing contact some of these souls left a sign, most of the times are fire handprint on books, clothes, walls..
