Would you trade for Matias Maccelli? 🤔

In one of Elliotte Friedman’s recent 32 Thoughts episodes, he mentioned how things aren’t working out between the Leafs and Maccelli and said the Bruins were a team that tapped in on his availability last year 👀

“I heard Boston poked around him last year when he was available. I don’t know if that’s still the case now but you always look and circle who are the other teams that were maybe interested in acquiring them, I know the Bruins were there and I know they’re still looking for a scoring winger, as well as they’re going, but I’m not sure Maccelli is going to be their guy still, or if they look for someone else.”

Maccelli, 25, has 9 points (4g-5a) in 22 games with Toronto this season. The forward is in the third year of his 3 year, $3.425M contract and is an RFA at the end of the year. He hasn’t played a game for the Leafs since November 28th. 😳
