The 2020 2nd-round-pick (37th OVR) was part of the major roster overturn the Bruins brought in from the 2025 Trade Deadline. Boston sent Justin Brazeau away in return for its 6th-round pick in 2026 and Jakub Lauko (now with HC Dynamo in the Extraliga)

Khusnutdinov, 23, signed a two-year, $1,850,000 contract with Boston over the summer and has 8 points (4 goals, 4 assists) in 27 games this season.
