The exhale. 

My conversation with Brendan Frasier about the very moving 15 1/2 minute standing ovation, we received at the Venice Film Festival for The Smashing Machine. I completely get it now - the pure ceremony and celebration of artistry that happens in that theater. And I also noticed that it was so important to everyone that was clapping, to try and make eye contact with you. That moved me too. The atmosphere was emotional and soul stirring. 
You could truly FEEL the mana that night. 

It’s crazy, cos after all these years, I finally felt myself do something that I had never done…
