The MINI John Cooper Works Convertible takes the classic MINI drop-top and turns it into a genuine performance machine. At its heart is a JCW-tuned 2.0-liter TwinPower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces around 228 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, giving the car brisk acceleration and plenty of punch out of corners — the claimed 0-60 mph sprint is about 6.2 seconds with the convertible roof deployed.  

Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed Sport Dual-Clutch automatic transmission with steering-wheel paddle shifters that help keep the fun going through twisty roads like the Tail of the Dragon.  

The chassis and suspension are uniquely tuned for JCW models, featuring Dynamic Damper Control, firmer springs, and sport brakes that give more confidence and a sharper feel when you’re hustling — ideal for a fun, engaging POV drive.  

Inside, the JCW Convertible pairs its performance chops with a quirky but well-equipped cabin, often featuring JCW sport seats, unique trim accents, and a large central display, blending everyday usability with sporty character.
