Coach Marshall has done far more than lead one of the nation’s top football programs for almost two decades; he has set the standard that players and coaches across Canada have aspired to follow. He leaves behind a remarkable legacy, leading the Mustangs to nine ouasport Yates Cup titles and two usportsca Vanier Cup championships, and even more if you count his incredible accomplishments as a student-athlete, assistant coach, and head coach of the McMaster Marauders. As head coach of Mustangs Football, he was recognized with the Frank Tindall Trophy as U SPORTS Coach of the Year twice and named OUA Coach of the Year six times. But his impact reaches far beyond wins and championships. Coach Marshall has built a community rooted in care, accountability and respect. He has helped thousands of student-athletes grow as players, leaders, and people. His passion for the game, commitment to excellence, and love for the #purpleandwhite will forever be part of Mustangs Football, and we are profoundly grateful for his leadership.
