🚨𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: As has been rumored, the #Pens are being sold to a Chicago-based investment group led by David Hoffmann for $1.7-1.8B, per Pierre LeBrun.

The team was under ownership of Fenway Sports Group since late 2021. FSG, who also own multiple other franchises, bought the Penguins for $900M in 2021.

The Hoffmann group already has ownership of the Florida Everblades (ECHL).
