Our lawsuit defending the national parks just went viral — thanks to Stephen Colbert calling us “the good guys.” 

The Center filed a lawsuit to stop President Trump from replacing a photo of Glacier National Park with a closeup of his own face on the America the Beautiful national parks pass. 
Federal law requires the pass to feature the winning image from the National Parks Foundation’s annual public lands photo contest.

National parks are not a personal branding opportunity. We’re fighting in court to defend the law — and the integrity of America’s most cherished public lands.

Lawsuits like this are why the Center is under attack. 

The most extreme, anti-conservation Republicans in Congress just launched a sham investigation into the Center for Biological Diversity. Why? Because we've been an outspoken — and successful — force against a massive foreign-owned mine that threatens the pristine Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. 

This “investigation” by Reps. Pete Stauber and Paul Gosar is an alarming abuse of power and doesn't name a single unlawful act — because the Center hasn't committed one. 

The corruption that should be investigated is that of Twin Metals and its Chilean parent company, Antofagasta plc.
