We looked at more than a dozen things in Oregon, from coffee to rent and utilities, to see how much prices increased or decreased in the last year. 

The cost of eggs is a current bright spot for consumers. The average price of a dozen eggs fluctuated wildly in 2025, reaching a high of $4.28 and plunging as low as $1.53 in early November. In the Portland-area, the mid-December price at Walmart was $1.97.
