For Julia Staniszewski, that support showed up on day one through faculty, students and alumni who helped her feel grounded and confident.

Julia came to Creighton from Wheeling, Illinois, not knowing her career path but knowing she wanted stability and strong post-grad outcomes for her future. That clarity led her to Creighton.

“Creighton’s 99% job placement rate immediately caught my eye,” she says. “I’ve had 4 internships, and every single one has been brought to my attention by the Career Center. My job after graduation also came from a Creighton connection.”

That sense of connection continues to surprise her in the best way.

“Creighton might seem like a smaller school, but the network is unbelievable,” she shares. “I was traveling in Maine, touring a lighthouse in the middle of nowhere, and someone saw my Creighton shirt and shouted ‘Go Jays!’ No matter where you go, you’ll find Bluejays who are excited to connect and support each other.”

After graduation, Julia will join the Information Technology Development Program at GE Healthcare in Milwaukee. She says the opportunities, mentors and relationships she found here made all the difference.
