#Community🤝 Through our Love is RIND initiative, we partner with amazing organizations like wellfareorg to give back to our local NYC communities 🍊❤️

Through the month of April, Team RIND was able to join their efforts and share 1,620 bags of our nutritious snacks in Wellfare boxes. Since launching, Wellfare has distributed more than 2.6 million healthy groceries through their efforts to nutrition insecure families in need.

Founder & CEO colerileywf started Wellfare after leading a campaign during the peak of the pandemic where he rallied together food and beverage brands to donate product to frontline healthcare workers at hospitals across New York City. He knew he could take this incredible collective of mission-driven, better-for-you brands and direct them to a larger, more persistent problem: food insecurity.

Cole shares that “regularly consuming nutritious food is the corner stone of a high quality of life. But for millions across the country, high quality, healthy goods are straight up unaffordable and unavailable in the community. What we've seen the past year on the ground though has been really enlightening. Families on SNAP, those visiting pantries consistently, already know what they should be consuming. They crave low-sugar options and products with functional ingredients. They want to ditch the syrup sodas and chips, but that's all that's available in the neighborhood. Where nonprofits typically focus on educating the consumer on healthy food, we're focused on buildings products and services that meet their needs in the market.”
