Zawiercie 🇵🇱 and Campinas 🇧🇷 battled for two and a half hours in Belém 🇧🇷 in a thrilling five-set showdown, eventually won by the European runners-up. Campinas even led the tie-break 12-8, but Zawiercie mounted a comeback to seal the victory 16-14.

The Polish side was led by outside hitter Aaron Russell 🇺🇸 and opposite Bartłomiej Bołądź 🇵🇱, who scored 19 points each. For Campinas, outside hitter Adriano 🇧🇷 finished with 17 points.

Zawiercie return to the court this Wednesday at 5pm local time (8pm UTC) against Al-Rayyan 🇶🇦, while Campinas close the day facing Brazilian rivals Praia Clube 🇧🇷 at 8:30pm local time (11:30pm UTC).
