Both #DonLemon and #GavinNewsom reacted to plaques from the “Presidential Walk of Fame” as they feature descriptions of past presidents, including #DonaldTrump’s own self-description at the White House. Some of the plaques contain customized titles that include insults and unproven claims. Former President #JoeBiden’s plaque labels him as “sleepy,” #BarackObama is described as “divisive,” and #RonaldReagan is mentioned as a supporter of a young Trump. In the plaque dedicated to #BillClinton, the description credited him with an economic boom in the 90s. It also mentioned his involvement in “scandals that plagued his presidency” along with the fact that his wife #HilaryClinton, lost to Trump in the 2016 election.

Trump’s plaque emphasizes his 2024 election victory, stating he overcame the “unprecedented weaponization of law enforcement against him, as well as two assassination attempts.” A plaque at the front of the exhibit explains to visitors that the exhibit was “conceived, built, and dedicated by President Donald J.
