Designed for dedicated ballet students, Joffrey South emphasizes strong technical foundations through two ballet technique classes per day, alongside daily pointe or variations and conditioning. Training is complemented by one jazz or contemporary class each day, encouraging versatility and a well rounded approach to movement.⁠

Set on an iconic historic college campus, dancers who choose housing enjoy a true collegiate experience with studios, residence halls, and campus life just steps away. During the final week, participating dancers take the stage in a fully produced theater performance, culminating a summer of concentrated training that sharpens focus, elevates artistry, and prepares dancers for the season ahead.⁠
