Celebrating the power, creativity, and leadership of women shaping entertainment today ✨We recently hosted the 12th annual #WomenInEntertainment event at dignityhealthsp. The sold-out evening, themed “Art of Entertainment” and presented by CocaCola, CityNationalBank, Dodgers, FoxEntertainment, Skechers, and AREVON, brought together over 300 top female executives, creators, and industry leaders.
 
Two award-winning recording artists, Verdine White (EarthWindandFire) and Estelledarlings, along with 102.3 KJLH Radio (radiofreekjlh), were recognized as this year’s Women in Entertainment Inspiration Award honorees for their leadership and lasting contributions in the industry. The event also included a special art exhibit celebrating the 50th anniversary of Ernie Barnes’ (erniebarnesofficial) The Sugar Shack, live music by DJJijiSweet, a performance by the FaithfulCentral Church Choir, and opportunities to shop local businesses.
 
The event included a panel discussion, moderated by Pat Shields of Black Dot Inc., featuring top entertainment executives including: 
-Abigail Weintraub, VP of Brand Strategy & Spectator Experience, LA28 Olympics & Paralympics Games
-Ranada Shepard, Co-Creator/ Showrunner/Executive Producer
-Evan Seymour, Founder and President of ERS Public Relations and Founder of Black Women in Entertainment (BWIE)
-Felisa Israel, Founder, Executive Director & Lead Instructor, IMPACT Learning Institute & Founder & Executive Producer, 10 Fold Entertainment 
-Jennifer Sinigal-Cornelius, Creator and Fashion Designer, Born To Roam
