Shabbat Shalom from VIP day and our last school day of 2025!

This week’s Shabbat Shout Out goes to all of our participants in the 2025 IJN Doris & Sky Chanukah Coloring Contest. We had so many INCREDIBLE entries from our school, and a number of our Tigers placed across the grade divisions in this community-wide celebration of Chanukah art—and what Chanukah means to each artist. We couldn’t be prouder of ALL of our artists’ talents and creativity, and we’re thrilled that so many of the winners came from DJDS.

These students brought their own interpretations of Chanukah light, joy, and tradition to life, and their work stood out among submissions from across the Front Range. Winners were honored with certificates in a ceremony at Guiry’s Art Supply, where they had the chance to share their artwork with family, friends, and the community.

Wishing all our participants and our entire school community a peaceful and meaningful Shabbat—and a joyous remainder of Chanukah and 2025. We look forward to seeing everyone back in the halls next year!
