INGREDIENTS:

APPLE FILLING: 

- 4 medium granny smith apples
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp cardamom
- 2 tbsp of water + 1 tsp cornstarch for cornstarch slurry

CREAMI BASE: 

- 16 oz whole milk
- 4 oz heavy cream
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

CRUMBLE: 

- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
