I was pretty discouraged after the race because I felt like I could’ve done a lot better. I walked away feeling like I let my partner down. HYROX is an absolute grind — mentally and physically.

Then my friend sheesh_misch hugged me and said, “You can’t be an Olympian at everything you do.”
And damn… that hit deep. She was spot on.

I’m wildly competitive and I hold myself to a standard that sometimes isn’t fair. This was a good reminder that effort matters, growth matters, and showing up still counts.

So grateful for that friendship and for our f45_training_kingsgate community. They were yelling, watching, and pushing us the whole way 🤍🤍🤍
