Cinematographer and director Tom Park brings the underwater world to life, capturing the wild creatures and ecosystems of Australia and beyond. He has worked on projects including 'Circle of Life', Netflix’s 'All The Sharks', 'Ocean with David Attenborough', and 'Blue Planet 3'.

On Heron Island for 'Circle of Life', Tom spent over three years documenting turtle hatchlings on the southern Great Barrier Reef. Capturing fleeting moments of hatchlings racing to the sea meant carrying heavy gear across sandy beaches and adapting to nests erupting hundreds of meters away, all while working in rapidly changing light. For 'All The Sharks', he had to move fast, adapting to the behavior of new shark species each week while capturing essential underwater sequences.

Tom’s work on 'Ocean' followed the southern Great Barrier Reef through the 2024 global mass bleaching event, documenting its slow journey to recovery. Across these projects, he relied on the RED V-RAPTOR 8K S35 (Wildmotion RHINO edition) and Nauticam (nauticamhousings) V-RAPTOR housing, paired with lenses like the Sigma 18–35 T2 and 8–16mm, enabling him to capture both expansive reef landscapes and intimate animal behavior.

For Tom, natural history filmmaking connects audiences with wild places and creatures they may never see, telling ocean stories in a way that inspires care and action for their protection.
