🔥Happy Wednesday! The best part of day#2 of the Collective Sum is reuniting with my Public Allies Director friend Ava Hernandez. She ran New Orleans & I ran Twin Cities (both sites no longer exist 😩). 

This isn't a #connectionmatterstory or an update on how neither of our sites no longer exist or how they crumbled. 

I am going to keep it Positive Patty & share the selfie we took together, hold tight the hug we embraced & the brief moment that we got to catch up. 

😘 I MET AVA FOR THE 1ST & ONLY TIME IN PERSON IN OCTOBER 2018 WHEN I WORKED FOR THE MCKNIGHT FOUNDATION. I CAME TO NOLA FOR A PIE Network CONFERENCE & EMAILED HER TO PRESENT MY "PRESENTATION OF LEARNING" TO HER 1ST COHORT! 😘

🤎 I am so grateful to The Black Collective Foundation MN for intentionally creating this space! Thank you friends Lulete, Chanda, CeMarr, Becky Saltzman & more for all of your elbow grease behind the scenes in making this happen for US by US!
