Ladies and Gentlemen meet Amar 👾

This past weekend we went to church and I wanted my sons to attend children’s church. Well, Amar has never transitioned well to spaces with a bunch of people he doesn’t know. To this day he tells me he doesn’t want to go to school, even though he also says he has a good time and everyone is nice to him. 
Anywho, I stay in the back of his church classroom for a few minutes to try and ease his anxiety. And for all those minutes I watched him fight back tears 🥺 I finally decide to leave but I go up and talk to him first. He instantly gets sadder and tells me he will miss me if I leave the room. 😭 I explain I will be in the building just a different room. That doesn’t work. So I pull out the big joker. 
I tell him if he doesn’t cry and participates in children’s church, I will buy him Robux (a way for parents to waste money on the Roblox game). He immediately agrees and wipes his tears. 
When I come to pick him up at the end of service, his teacher said Amar was her special assistant, he told the entire class what love means, and closed the class out in prayer. 😱 This boy hustled me… #parenting #mamasboy #theyoungest
