 #ForeverFredericks was the wedding/vow renewal of the decade. mrskevonstage invited us to this 2 YEARS AGO!!! And honey, it was worth the wait. It was luxury at every turn weaved with a true CELEBRATION of the 20 years of marriage and family she & kevonstage have built. One of the many memories that are etched in my head was seeing Liss on the opposite side of the boat (there was a yacht day) and she was grinning from ear to ear at a game other people were playing. I walked over to her and said, you look sooo happy and her response was “I love this so much!” This weekend for me was not just about celebrating Black Love & Excellence but about watching two people create the life and moments that they love and working until they got them. Also, it was beautiful to see the community of people that love them on a real personal and genuine level. From their family and hometown friends to those whose connection first began via career paths crossing. Plus we had A LOT of fun! I mean A LOT!!! (I played the nasty version of Taboo with Mattie, Chris, Yvette, Glen, Tommy, Codie, Bishop, and Terrell and the ladies just assumed it was right up my alley but they were just as good at it. 😜 And me, Josh, Imara, Tony, and Marcus bonded even more.) I only wish I got more pictures of/with the beautiful couple.
