🧺Exciting news (if you haven’t heard)...🧺 Mr Babs and I bought the sweetest 1,500 square foot historical cottage. The best part is that the house is only minutes from our daughter and grandchildren.  I just fell absolutely in love with this home and this project.  I love history and I love interior design.  So…to bring life back into this historic cottage is a dream come true.  The home was a blacksmith shop in the 1830s (there are still  doors where the horses came in for shoes❤️) and then a basket shop in the 1850s.  It is located on a the sweetest river where they used to soak the reeds to make the baskets sold in this home. The location is truly so special which really adds to the charm of this little jewel. However, the home needs a very extensive facelift. So here we go, preserving the history and charm but bringing this home into the 21st century to be preserved for many years to come.   It is going to take some time for our little dream project to come to fruition and we so hope you will come along on this journey with us.  XO Babs and Mr Babs #renovation #historicalhomes
