## Caption

This Summer Ice Box Cake is a Memorial Day classic in our house.  My Grandkids can’t get enough of this easy, no bake dessert. We never miss the Memorial Day parade as a time to remember all that sacrificed their lives followed by a family picnic, a flag cake front and center. #memorialday 

INGREDIENTS:
1 box of graham crackers (you will need about 24 crackers total) 
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 (3.4 oz) packages Vanilla Instant Pudding
2 1/2 cups cold milk
12 oz Cool whip (or homemade whipped cream)
2  (16 oz) packages of fresh strawberries, sliced
2 cups fresh blueberries

INSTRUCTIONS:  
Beat cream cheese and dry pudding mixes in a large bowl with a mixer until blended.
Once blended, gradually beat in milk.  After all the milk is added, blend for two minutes.  Then gently stir in Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream.  

Place one layer of graham crackers in 9 x 13 pan (breaking them as needed to fit the pan.)  Spread a layer of pudding mixture over graham crackers and top with a layer of blueberries and sliced strawberries.  Place another layer of graham crackers on top of berries, then another layer of pudding mixture and a layer of berries again.  Repeat 1 more time (3 times total) and you should reach the top of the pan.  Make sure to reserve enough of the pudding mixture to generously top the final layer.  

For the top layer of berries, you can make an American flag or not - up to you!  Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.  When serving, it ’s best to use a spoon to scoop all the yummy goodness out. #flagcake
