🏈Babs’ Way to Throw the Ultimate Super Bowl Party🏈 🏈 Have your drinks ready to go! Tie the bottle opener to your drink caddy that way you won’t lose it and you won’t have to answer “where is the bottle opener?” question all night long:) Use a Solo cup to portion out beverages. The grooves in the cup are created to measure liquor, wine and beer. 🍸First line liquor (1 ounce) 🍷Second line wine (5 ounces) 🍺Third Line - beer (12 ounces) 🏈 Appetizers are game winners. I like to use a wine glass in a bowl to create a bottomless chips and dip bowl. Just place a stemmed glass in the center of a deep bowl. Fill the glass to the brim with dip and the bowl full of your favorite chips. 🏈 Put those Crockpots to work so you can enjoy the party! I serve my Slow- Cooked Pulled Pork Sandwiches (from my cookbook Celebrate With Babs) and hot dogs in the crockpot for kids (and adults:) 🌭Cook Hot Dogs all at once in crockpot. Stand hot dogs up if you have a lot or just dump the entire package into the slow cooker. Cover, and cook on low for 4 hours, or on high for about 2 hours. 🏈 Have FUN! What is a Super Bowl party without Super Bowl Squares? Here is how you play: - Create a 10×10 grid (100 individual squares) - Someone leads game and acts as “bank”. Banker has four empty envelopes marked with each quarter. Banker puts the appropriate prize money in each envelope upon collection. - Players claim open boxes on the board by putting initials in each box they choose. We like to do $1 a square. Bank collects as players initial squares. - The banker randomly assigns numbers 0-9 to each of the 10 rows and columns. Make sure each row has a unique number and the same for the columns. To determine a winning square you will be using the last digit of each team’s score at the end of each quarter. - 1st quarter: 15% of pot ($15 on $1 squares) - 2nd quarter: 20% of pot ($20 on $1 squares) - 3rd quarter: 25% of pot ($25 on $1 squares) - 4th quarter/Overtime: 40% of pot ($40 on $1 squares) Go TEAM!
