🎄Door 11 - Tis the Season of special treats🎄Babs’ Peppermint Bark 🎄 You can find the recipe below & you can also find this recipe in my cookbook, Celebrate with Babs!I love peppermint bark. It is such a festive gift and makes any dessert plate over the top. My bark recipe is so easy and costs fractions of what it costs to buy bark at the fancy kitchen stores. 🎄INGREDIENTS:
12 oz semisweet chocolate
12 oz white chocolate chopped
1 tsp peppermint extract
8 candy canes crushed
🎄INSTRUCTIONS:
Line an 11 x 15” baking sheet with parchment.  In a microwave safe bowl, microwave the semi-sweet chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring each time. Be careful not to scorch. When the chocolate has melted, stir in 1/2 tsp peppermint extract.

Pour the chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth evenly with an offset spatula. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in the same manner. When melted, stir in 1/2 tsp peppermint extract.

Remove the cooled semi-sweet chocolate from the refrigerator. Spread the melted white chocolate over the cooled layer with the offset spatula. Top immediately, with the crushed candy canes and press into chocolate. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes. When cool, cut into squares or break off pieces to serve. #christmascookies #easyrecipe #chocolatebark
