I should probably stop posting about taylorswift 😆, but I have an important PSA. It took several city-dweller friends—who left EARLY!—well over two hours to get home from Soldier Field after the show. (I can't even *imagine* how long it took those who live outside Chicago.) But we had Emma and Lucy safely home to LP in legit 17 minutes on our e-bikes via the beautiful Lakefront Path. 🤯🚲👏🏻 Let me tell you the story!

Soldier Field is notorious for accessibility issues. The nearest CTA stop is roughly a mile away—and to actually get to and from the gates, people are forced to walk through what is basically a jam-packed maze that winds around roads and museum campuses. (The walk there is usually around 25-30 min, but because of crowds, the return can be even longer. Swipe right. No WAY my four- and six-year-old could have handled it, especially so late at night; I actually saw a woman nearly get trampled. 😖) Parking is limited and Lake Shore Drive creates total traffic chaos.

Of course, Soldier Field has limited bike racks, too. 😆 (Great job, guys.) But even at The Eras Tour, we were able to find spots to lock up right before Taylor took the stage. The stadium obviously needs more racks (and more Divvy bikes). That, however, seems a bit more doable than wormholes, spaceships, unicorns or whatever else might improve accessibility.

We will never stop talking about how much our radioflyerinc e-bikes have changed our lives. (Btw, our suburban e-bike friends say the same!) Because of them, we've been able to (almost) ditch our car, which used to be a constant source of frustration. The bikes help us get us outside, avoid meltdowns, save time, and access more of the city. In short, they make us a happier family. And while they're an investment, they're FAR more affordable than cars. They're also environmentally friendly!

Pulling away from Soldier Field, another e-biker high-fived me 😅 and said, "Best-kept secret." But I think it’s time the we got the word out! Thank you to Radio Flyer for making the concert possible for my little Swifties. And CONGRATS to michellehepler for winning my bike! I'm SO happy for you! #TSTheErasTour #chicagotstheerastour
