Just as I did, I caught them sitting next to each other on the floor (both clad their adorable new janieandjack dresses), Emma hugging Lucy and Lucy leaning in to her as well. And after they separated, Emma pulled her in one more time to kiss the top of her head. They never saw me, and I'm sure they've since forgotten that moment. But it's already one of my favorite memories; one that I know I'll revisit years from now when the girls are grown.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I snapped these photos later that evening when Mitch and I took the girls to the park. The light was gorgeous, the air was warm but crisp, the leaves were falling (?!), and everything was perfect. At one point, Emma tried to go in for another hug, and I was so excited to capture the magic this time around... and now I can't stop laughing at the resulting image. Please see pic #4 in this photo series. It should definitely be titled "When all you want to do is snuggle and Boo's like, 'Get off me.'"
