New workweek, new outlook! ☺️ With Emma now in school, balancing life and work is slowly becoming easier. (Don't even get me started on the conflicting emotions I feel regarding this: relief and "I miss my little girl" and "mom guilt" sentiments all at the same time, and reconciling them is tough. 🙈) Yes, I'm still behind on almost everything, and I'll be playing the catch-up game for a while longer. But Mitch and I both have much, much longer periods of dedicated work time because we switch on and off with Lucy and utilize daycare... which, when I really think about it, has been amazing for the whole family. (When we're working, we're *working.* And when we're with the girls, we're *with the girls.* No more trying to do both at the same time!) Anyway. 😉 While I haven’t been in a traditional office setting for a while now, I do find that I’m far more productive wherever I’m working–at the gym, at the coffee shop or in my home office–if I put in some extra effort. And most of my favorite work-appropriate clothing (both casual and more professional) comes from jcrewfactory, as the brand carries so many timeless basics.
